About
STEVE
Steve is le grand fromage-the man with the vision. Steve has been a restaurateur in Calgary since the early 80s, including the Bristol Room, Terrace 15, the Piccadilly Grill and Just for the Halibut to name a few. Although Steve always has lots of projects on the go at any time, you can usually find him here Friday afternoons to share a beverage and rehash the week.
JACKIE
Jackie is...the Jack of all Trades in the restaurants. She was assigned the title "General Manager" but is really coach, plumber, menu planner and chief bottle washer and sometimes cook. Whether rocking a headset or a hairnet, she's the one to hit up if no one else knows the answer.

CHEF VALLEN
Our head chef for 18 years, Vallen Yau, passed away on December 25th, 2011. We will miss Dai Lo very much, but will continue to follow his example of hard work and dedication to everything he was involved in.
OWEN
Owen is our promotions manager and man about town...not to mention weekend warrior and emergency cook.
DAVE
Are you missing seeing Dave in your office? Us, too. He and Sandra have taken off to Ecuador for a while, we hope to see them again next year!
SANDRA
We're really, really missing Sandra...but know she's having fun without us. Somehow we're coping without her, though.
FRONT STAFF
This is the front line gang, the lovely ladies who deliver food to our nearest clients and are always happy to help you in the restaurant!
DEB
This is the fabulous gal who does our books, as well as take your orders, answers phones, pours soups at lunch time, is an emergency driver and late afternoon sandwich maker. It's hard to see them, but she really does wear a lot of hats.
MANS LY
Mans Ly is the Tasmanian Devil of the group-flying from station to station to lend a helping hand wherever it's needed. Whether making sandwiches or fish and chips, ladling soups or putting together breakfast sandwiches, Mans Ly's the woman who can really do it all.
HANG
Hang is the queen of the sandwiches, she starts in the middle of the night to make sure everything is ready to go for our customers by lunch. She is sweet and super efficient and the one who always says "Yes, we can do it!"
FAY and AMY
Fay and Amy are the sweetest ladies of the restaurant...literally! They do all of our baking, from banana bread to cheesecake, they're the ones who keep the desserts coming!
SISTERS
No, you're not seeing triple, Samira and Carolina are Sandra's sisters...and they get on amazingly well.
STAFF DIM SUM
We work hard, but play hard too and try to get out as a team every couple of months or so. This is one of our many dim sum lunches.
HALLOWEEN 2011
The front team dressed up thanks to the lovely Rebecca, seen here as a banana, and had a lot of fun bringing food to the downtown offices!
